New clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Spacious room with big fridge, sink and even dishwasher. We enjoyed breakfast. Way better food variety than most hotels in USA: potato and sausage patties , bacon, cheese, eggs, oatmeal , fruits ,etc Highly recommend and we will be back once near Sacramento again.
Absolutely loved my stay at the Home2 Suites in Woodland near SMF. I stayed here the night before an early flight and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The hotel is brand new, super clean, and a great value for the price. The room itself was spacious and modern, and I was especially impressed with the kitchenette; it was updated, spotless, and had everything I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. What really sold me is that they offer a park and fly option and a free airport shuttle, which makes flying out of Sacramento so much easier than dealing with airport parking. Armando at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made check-in smooth and welcoming. I fly from SMF often, and this is definitely where I’ll be staying from now on. Highly recommend!
Perfect hotel for a quick stay. Shuttle service to the airport does have an additional cost, but well worth the ease.

I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who helped us the 1st night, she was absolutely amazing despite looking so tired and overworked, it was a friday evening and aftershock weekend, hotel was FULL FULL, but she was still so kind and even though we had key issues 3 times when we got there, we laughed through it, she really had a great attitude/personality depsite the chaos im sure her day was full of! And the lobby cookies were delicious!!
We stay at Home2 Suites regularly when traveling and find them to be fine and a reasonable value. We drive an Ford Mustang EV and chose this location because it had chargers. Unfortunately they are Tesla chargers and we couldn't get connected - although we have used Tesla chargers a number of times successfully. Don't know why we couldn't connect - sure there is a reason, but even though we are experienced EV owners, found no solution. Just a heads up if you are planning on using their charger, might not work.
Comfy beds, quiet, clean room but light flashes every minute or less from the overhead smoke detector seemed aimed right at our eyes and pirced closed eyelids. THAT needs a change. Drove us crazy and disrpted sleep all night!
